Pithy Little Wine Company

February 28, 2010 matt Leave a Comment

Right in the middle of downtown San Luis Obispo is a fresh new wine tasting room called Pithy Little Wine Company – http://www.pithywine.com/.  We battled the pouring rain and found our way in on the afternoon of their grand opening.  What a super cool place!  The tasting room is modern, yet very comfy…the wine is great and the people…well, they were awesome!  So, “Pithy” – an adjective meaning concise and forcefully expressive, is a great way to describe what they’ve created.  Jeff and Felicia do it all, from making the wines to marketing them, to pouring them; oh yeah…they make soda, too!  They’re all over the social media scene and were gearing up for a “Tweet up” the day we were there.  They’re wired for connectivity and prepared to ride the instant communication revolution that’s going on all around us.  Get over there and try the wine – a great Chardonnay, sassy Pinot Noir and delicious Zinfandel, and don’t forget to taste the Root Beer, Black Cherry and Orange Cream sodas!
