Clavo Cellars

March 2, 2010 matt Leave a Comment

In the funky little downtown strip that is Templeton, is where you’ll find the Clavo Cellars Tasting Room.  http://www.clavocellars.com/.  Super comfortable and spacious, this spot is a great place to sidle up to the bar and taste some good wines.  From Rhone whites (yeah, we like those) to Zinfandel, Syrah, and a Tempranillo blend, this was a really good stop.  They’ve got custom made chocolates for you to try with some of the wines – pink peppercorn and dark chocolate goes well with the Zinfandel, and the red-hot cinnamon and dark chocolate was a hit with the Syrah.  Check this one out, definitely worth looking into!
