Out at Cinquain Cellars

March 8, 2010 matt Leave a Comment

So, we’ll just tell you right up front…we’re members here at Cinquain Cellars – http://cinquaincellars.com/.  They’re along the Pleasant Valley Wine Trail, just North East of Paso Robles, nestled between hills on 20 acres of grapes.  A beautiful barn is where they do the tastings, and the day we arrived just happened to be the chili cookoff!  Along with great wines…this place is run by the Nagengasts, Dave and Beth.  They do it all…from growing, to making wine, to designing the labels, they’re a busy couple.  We love the special events and friendly neighborhood atmosphere here, along with their great wines.  Their substantial tasting list includes whites, reds and an awesome port.  Be sure to check their website to confirm that they’re open for you to come by and taste, it’s definitely a must-try!
