At Home With Cartlidge & Browne #4

April 9, 2010 matt Leave a Comment

Hey there…remember our awesome friends at C&B?  http://www.cartlidgeandbrowne.com/.  Yeah, that’s them!  Well, we opened a bottle of their 2006 Merlot and they’ve got another home run as far as we were concerned.  Now, I’m (Annie) not a huge Merlot fan as it were, but I really enjoyed this one!  Their Merlot is a medium-bodied wine with cool aromas of oak, cherry and mocha.  We let it breathe for a bit before tasting it and as it opened up, a lot of gloriousness came out!  I know gloriousness might not be a “real” word, but you know what I’m talkin about, right?  If you’re a Merlot-doubter like Miss Annie, then you should definitely give this one a try…it just might make you sing a different tune!  Annie definitely can’t sing, but she tried…and well yes, it was strange, but the wine was still really good!
