We were lucky enough to go behind the scenes with winemaker/ co winemaker Clay Brock. It’s always amazing to see all the stuff that goes in to creating that lovely, delicious bottle that we get to sip on. From the time the grapes roll in to the winery on big trucks, there is a chaotic ballet that goes on in the wine making facility until it hits the barrels. The energy is amazing; there are people and machinery everywhere, each performing a different yet necessary piece of the puzzle.
We saw grapes coming in, we saw juice pouring out, we smelled yeast wafting out of fermenting barrels, and we tasted some really good wine!

Great shots and lovely writing! I love this time of year in Paso Robles. It is so much fun to live here and be a part of all that goes on, not to mention that we get to reap the rewards of all the winery workers hard work!
