Mondo Cellars is just a cool place to hang out. Perched up on top of a hill, just West of Paso Robles, is their beautiful tasting room. It’s not just a tasting room, though! They’ve got a B&B up in there, as well as a covered patio for your viewing pleasure, and a full-service kitchen for events. They produce some really nice wines, mostly blends of mainly Rhone varietals with some Bordeaux varietals and whatnot mixed in there. Be sure to head out their for Friday night Sunset Happy Hour, or their Saturday night Patio Picnics, both more fun than people should be allowed to have! Wait, you deserve it so go!!!
It’s a family run joint, brothers Doug and Mitch Mondo handle the business and they’ve got a vision! A vision of not only creating great wines, a tight community through their wine club, and awesome weekly events, but a vision for giving back to their community through education. They’re working on some pretty cool projects that involve educating kids using their land as a classroom. Keep your eye on these guys, they’re doing some pretty cool stuff!
