That Big Red Adobe on the 46E…J.Paul Rosilez!

February 1, 2011 matt 4 Comments

You can’t miss it…J. Paul Rosilez is a big, bright, beautiful adobe-style building on the side of 46 East. Pull off, walk in, taste some wine! They’ve got some pretty good stuff! The really unique thing is that they’ll give you two glasses and switch back and forth between the white wines and the red wines, depending on the fruit and weight of the wines.

You’ll get to try some Viognier, Chardonnay, Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah…phewww!  And don’t forget the blends and the dessert wines.  This family run joint really knows how to make some wine. You’ll likely get to chat with the owners when you stop in to taste, and you’ll definitely not want to leave without a bottle or two…or more!  We got to taste with our good friend, Jeff…in fact, he’s the star in the video! Cheers!

Is Papa Jeff wearing a Cinnabar Winery shirt? There’s a tasting room in Saratoga? I was going to visit that Winery when I was visiting my Aunt and Uncle in Los Altos Hills, but never got the time (darn). Keep talking Annie littlely (literally). lol. Cheers!

Yes, Papa Jeff is wearing a Cinnabar shirt!!! Not sure on the tasting room locations, but we’ll look into it. Have heard good things about their juice! And yes, you caught me…purple teeth, bad English, and all! 😉 It’s hard work out there, Bev…cheers!!!

I’ve had the Rosilez wines several times and they are very good. Last time I had them I thought the Viognier was exceptional. Easy winery to find. Right on the corner of Hwy 46 East and Jardine rd. If you miss it you shouldn’t be driving.

Hey Gary, we enjoyed the wines, too. Loved that Viognier, but we’re suckers for the Rhones. We’ll keep an eye out for you sneaking in to J.Paul for a taste!
