If you’re from ’round here…then you know who we’re talking about. If you’re not from ’round here then we’ll tell you that Jeanette Trompeter is a great anchor on our local news station and we got to talk to her! Not that we don’t love the other anchors, we appreciate and dig our local news channel, KSBY, for what they offer the area, but there’s just something about Jeanette….maybe it has to do with feeling like you know somebody after they’ve been on your TV every night, telling you all about what’s going on in the news.
Okay, on to the event, this was the Paso Robles Classic Car Show Weekend put on by our Chamber of Commerce, and it was a great event! There were beautiful cars as far as the eye could see as they rolled up and down Spring Street for the Friday night cruise. Jeanette led the cruise, riding in a convertible baby blue classic and waving.
We were impressed with the participation in the event, some 300 cars joined the cruise, and even more cars showed up in the park on Saturday! We owe a shout out to the Paso Robles Chamber of Commerce for organizing the event and doing a great job! Neither of us know a whole lot about cars, but we can definitely appreciate the coolness of a souped-up muscle car or the classic lines of an old Chevy.
