This past Friday night we went out to Silver Horse Winery for their Friday night party, called Friday Fete, that goes from 5:30 to sunset…they do this little shindig roughly the third Friday of every month. The one we just went to was crazy awesome…for $10 you get a wine glass to keep and a glass of wine AND for an additional $10 we got all the tacos we wanted to eat. These weren’t just any tacos, they were prepared on site by Los Robles Café…pregnant Annie and Little Browne LOVED ‘em!!
Party at Silver Horse!
The party is outside in the big grassy area where there’s live music, horseshoes, kids of all ages running around, and you can even bring your own chairs or blanket and make yourself right at home. Winemaker Steve Kroener puts on one helluva party (we’ve witnessed a few before) and he can be seen wandering through the crowd with bottles of wine and a big smile (which I blame on his recent marriage to Jane). It’s all the perfect way to spend a Friday evening after a long week!
Annie and I really did have a great time, it was one of those things that you chat about when you leave and say “we really need to get back here and do that again”. Good times, good wine, good food, great people, and a spectacular Paso Robles view. Thanks Steve!!
