Chardonnay Symposium: Chardonnay Lovers Unite

July 23, 2012 matt Leave a Comment

You’ll be happy to know that we did; unite in Chardonnay, that is. In our first post on the Chardonnay Symposium we covered the seminar that we went to, which led into the Grand Tasting. The whole experience was pretty awesome. That first post also contained a video of Annie talking about all things Chardonnay. This post will leave you with some B footage of the event as well as a bunch of photos that I took which should really give you a great idea of what the overall event was like. It’s hard to imagine the gamut of flavor profiles that Chardonnay can take on. But it’s easy to get all that when you get exposed to hundreds of different Chardonnays!

Chardonnay Symposium Organization

I will reiterate what I said in the first post, I really think Chris Slaughter and the Santa Maria Valley Wines staff did an amazing job of putting this event on…from the consumer and media stand point, I thought it went off without a hitch! Aside from that, as we always do around here…we strongly encourage you to get out there and keep drinking. Find YOUR palate, define YOUR palate, and enjoy that journey; that’s the truly fun part about the world of wine. Wine is life, don’t over-science it!
