Hello again folks. Below you will find some tidbits of news and events going on in Paso Robles or surrounding areas. These are things I find in my own research or that are emailed to me. We have started posting the things we find interesting, odd, or informational in some of our blog posts to help spread the message. If you are an individual or winery (or restaurant) that knows of anything going on that you feel we may be missing you can email me at matt@hootnannieblog.com
My goal is to get a little more focused on these topics: 1) wine and food, as we have been doing but we will be doing more videos like we used to 2) news and events in the Paso Robles and Central Coast areas 3) social media usage for wineries and hospitality focused businesses 4) thoughts and opinions and 5) if you know me at all I will continue throwing out the occasional motivational or philosophical OpEd. I will also be adding some charitable aspects to the blog when some things get ironed out. I am finding it increasingly more important to help, give back, and/or pay it forward in order to have that sense of fulfillment that I often crave.
This life has been an amazing journey and I feel that my “cup runneth over” so we need to pay it forward. Cheers, have an amazing Friday and weekend, and check out the news and events below.
~First we really want to congratulate Matt Ortman for his new position as winemaker for Villa San Juliette Winery. We’ve known him for a while and it couldn’t happen to a nicer guy. We look forward to seeing, and tasting, this new direction for VSJ.
