Berlin at Venteux

Venteux Vineyards, Berlin, and must! charities

June 10, 2013 matt 2 Comments

It’s an interesting combination don’t you think? A winery, a band, and a charity…it was actually an epic night in Templeton last Thursday night when we headed over to Venteux Vineyards to see Berlin play to benefit must! charities.

I was very impressed with the folks that showed up to support this event…Saxum, Bella Luna, Tablas Creek, Chateau Margene, The Missing Leg, Firestone Brewery, Fundaro’s Foodstream, Toby’s Tri-Tip, Gypsy Flame Pizza, and many more. It was a great night of good food and great wine (and beer).

As for Berlin, Annie was a fan of them and I never really had an opinion either way but Terri Nunn is still killing it…she sounded awesome (and looked amazing!). You can tell she likes to party and really seems to still enjoy being on stage. It was super cool to see a bunch of local friends all rocking out together and enjoying a relatively chilly Templeton evening. Local band, One Time Spaceman, opened up for Berlin and “man about town” Bobby Fox was the MC for the night…at one point Terri Nunn was even on Bobby’s shoulders as he walked her through the crowd, good times!!

The folks at Venteux, Bobbi and Scott, did a great job with this event at their property. Parking wasn’t an issue and everything seemed very well organized. Although we have been to Venteux several times we had not been behind the tasting room where the concert was. It’s absolutely beautiful. There’s some big green grassy areas, a swimming pool, and you’re surrounded by the endless rolling hills and vineyards…a great venue for a concert if you ask me and nobody ended up in the swimming pool that I’m aware of.

I don’t think there’s much left to say other than go support must! charities as well as all the wineries and businesses that have partnered up with them. Below you will find a slideshow of pics and some video of the evening at Venteux! Cheers!
