Howdy peeps…I don’t normally post on this blog on Thursdays but hey, life’s an adventure…right?
So, I don’t really care what people think about Amazon being in the wine business I’m just here to report some facts. If you have not noticed we have a tab up above called “HNA Shop”, click that and it takes you to another page on our site featuring some Amazon products…which now includes wine too.
Why do we have this Amazon thing on our blog site?
Well, in an attempt to make a little bit of money…to be honest. The point is this, if you shop on Amazon or plan on shopping on Amazon Annie and I can make a small percentage of money off the purchases if you do it through that tab on our blog site.
Why the hell do you want to make money?
Honestly, I don’t but we live in this dumb ass system called capitalism and we’ve been running this blog since January of 2010 (almost 4 years) and it takes time so it would be nice to make a little, tiny, baby amount of money…know what I mean? I’m not asking you to buy things from Amazon if you don’t normally buy things from Amazon, I’m just saying that if you were to buy things on Amazon and did it through that tab above it would allow us to make a small amount of money so we can keep feeding our child…you don’t want him to go hungry do you?
Just kidding.
In all seriousness, I know a lot of people shop online and if you are so inclined to do so through the tab above (and share this info with your friends) we can get some nickels and dimes to help offset the time and cost of running this site.
Okay…now that all that craziness is out of the way…I think Amazon getting in the wine business is long overdue. My personal feeling is that more people are buying wine online and why wouldn’t the king of online sales be involved in that? I have not gone through yet to see what kind of wine they are selling from there but I will and I just may order some if the price is right and there is alcohol in it (I hate non alcoholic wine, ;)).
