Interesting Wine Tasting Room Data

May 18, 2015 matt Leave a Comment

I don’t remember who sent the tweet out on Twitter but I saw the Wine Business link there, or you can use the YouTube link to the video…either will do. Some of what was discussed was obvious and common sense to me (yet so many wineries still screw it up) but there was some very interesting data in here as well. I STRONGLY urge all wineries with tasting rooms to check this video out and reassess your business.

I’m not saying you are doing well, poorly, or anywhere in between. I’m just saying that this video serves as a fantastic reminder of how wineries make money. I walked away from watching this thinking the same thing I thought before watching it…relationships are KEY and building one on one relationships are an ever bigger key.

Check it out. Would love to hear your thoughts. Great job by the panel on the video, especially Rob McMillan. This guys is an important asset to the wine industry…in my opinion.
