June 20, 2016 matt Leave a Comment

We received all the below information from Juice Media about their recent web series titled, California Dream Eater. One thing I know as fact, the Central Coast has truly blown up in the last 10 years when it comes to the quality of the food, the styles of food, and the number of options we now have.

You can watch the three videos that were shot in San Luis Obispo County at Madonna Inn, Sidecar, and Splash Café. Below you will also see a few “behind the scenes” photos from the series as well as a press release going into greater detail. Juice Media has done a great job, as usual.

PASO ROBLES, CA—From sashimi in Sacramento, chorizo in LA, sea urchin in Santa Barbara and sizzling street tacos in San Diego, Juice Media of Paso Robles has traveled hundreds of miles in an effort to visually capture the very best #DreamEats across California.

The web series, dubbed California Dream Eater, is the brainchild of Sacramento ad agency Mering Carson and commissioned by Visit California, which aims to bring more tourism to the Golden State. Juice Media served as the production company, overseeing all creative aspects of video production and editing.

Dina Mande, creative director and owner of Juice Media, directed the series from start to finish, taking great care to capture the magic behind each compelling dish. Mande worked closely with comedy actor and culinary ambassador Chase Ramsey, who adds a welcome dose of humor and warmth to the series.

“The Juice team was honored to feature three San Luis Obispo County establishments, especially, for the California Dream Eater series,” Mande said. “The whole project was an incredible experience, not unlike a road trip where you get to make a pit stop for the very best food on earth.”

Millions of viewers have already salivated over Mande’s videos depicting creamy clam chowder at Pismo Beach’s Splash Cafe, creative cocktails at downtown SLO’s Sidecar, and frosty pink champagne cake at the area’s iconic Madonna Inn.

“We’re a small production company with a big heart, so it means the world for us to partner with Mering Carson and Visit California for this major ad campaign,” Mande said. “The response locally and worldwide has been overwhelming, and it’s been incredible to share San Luis Obispo’s amazing bounty with the rest of the world. My approach to the series was always to keep it fun, energetic and colorful in a vibrant, true-California way.”

Juice Media is the small but mighty Paso Robles ad agency behind viral sensation Paso Robles Wine Man, among other fresh and fun food, lifestyle, and tech-related campaigns.
