Wine Tasting: Cutruzzola Vineyards

July 26, 2017 matt Leave a Comment

Yes, another recent tasting room we discovered in Cambria. I first heard about them through the Garagiste Festival (I’m on the board of this event) and thought it was time to check them out. Here’s what we tasted:

2012 Riesling Estate, Riven Rock Vineyard, Cambria (440 cases) $28.00

2014 Riesling Estate, Riven Rock Vineyard, Cambria (220 cases) $30.00

2013 Pinot Noir Estate, Gloria, Cambria (441 cases) $42.00

2013 Pinot Noir Estate, Giacomino Reserve, Cambria (88 cases) $55.00

2014 Zinfandel Estate, Susie’s Vineyard, Russian River Valley (75 cases) $38.00

The wines were quite nice. The standouts for me were the 2014 Riesling and both Pinot Noirs. This place is well worth stopping at when in Cambria. Cool tasting room, good people, and great wine. Trifecta! Buy a bottle and hit up Moonstone Beach…or something.
