Spring Gardening Project with Loo Loo Farms

April 20, 2020 Annie Leave a Comment

We don’t normally do a vegetable garden because our yard just isn’t great for it. We live on a hill and there’s not a lot of full sun, but we’ve definitely missed doing it. Well, this year an opportunity arose to “foster” a good friend’s garden, so we jumped at it! We reached out to our buddies, Zina and Seth over at Loo Loo Farms and got some seedlings ordered. The process was super quick and easy, and just like that we had plants to get into the garden.

We picked everything up on Saturday morning and had everything in the ground by Saturday afternoon. We got several tomato varieties, some peppers, eggplant, squash, and a bunch of herbs. Sam helped us move dirt around and plant the seedlings. He also watered and fertilized everything. We’ll be taking him over to visit the garden regularly and care for everything. This will be a great learning experience and project for him. Thanks to LuLu Farms for making this whole project super fun and easy! We can’t wait to harvest the goods!

Note: be sure to call or message before going out to the farm, they sell out pretty quickly!
