I saw this quote on Facebook and I do not know who said itâ?¦but itâ??s powerful. Sometimes I forget that Sammy isnâ??t dealing with the same set of parameters that I am. Sometimes I forget that to him an acorn is the whole universe while all I am trying to do is make money. Sometimes I feel like crap when I remember that. I feel like crap because sometimes making money is my universe and his acorn seems ridiculously insignificant.
I realize that heâ??s rightâ?¦that acorn is all that matters. Itâ??s not the money or the cool wine event or the car I drive. We view kids as â??not yet understanding the worldâ? but I think we have it backwards. They think Buy Cialis an acorn is significant. They could care less about money, what religion you are, what political party you belong to, the color of your skin, or whether youâ??re gay or straight.

I love the reminder of the quote above. I love that Sammy is in my life because as chaotic as my brain can get he is an anchor. I love that he doesnâ??t care about my money and all he wants me to do is read him a book or take him to the park. These days are irreplaceableâ?¦and Iâ??m realizing that having reminders is a good thing.
