Something that I have learned in life but still struggle to implement is; stop looking to the “BIG thing” you’re going to do and simply work on the thing. I get caught up in creating a masterpiece that will change humankind FOREVER, which makes me miss out on all the little things I can do that would change life on a much smaller scale (but no less important). I guess my point is this, if you’re creating consistently good little things, are you less important than the person that creates one great big thing? I don’t think so. Each has their place and value.
Concentrate on the moment and what you could be producing in that moment, that is who and what you are. Besides, that little thing could change the life of one person and that is a “BIG thing”.
