My Photography for Sale

Many of you don’t know this about me, but at one point I had four businesses in Paso Robles. One of those was a photography business in which I would sell my scenic/ landscape photos in wine tasting rooms. It seemed like a no brainer because I love taking photos so why not try to make a little cash from it? Call it a side hustle.

I didn’t used to edit my photos, simply show what was there naturally. Annie and I would go out and about with my camera and I would capture the scene around us. Then we’d have the photos printed and we would mat, wrap, and take them to a tasting room. Going through a closet I found that I still had many of those photos. Rather than throw them away we are going to sell them.

Most of the below photos are matted, a few are not, and the sizes are listed with each photo. The size on the matted photos includes the mat and the size on the non-matted is simply the size of the actual photo. Also, many of the photos are in a plastic sleeve which is why some may appear to look a little wonky (reflections, etc.). Some are signed, some are not.

Again, these photos are from 2007 to 2009. I have never left photography but I did stop trying to sell my photos. My new photography utilizes editing tools and I feel my eye has grown over the years. I am a complete novice when it comes to navigating my way around my camera and editing but I learn a little bit month after month. The one thing unique to me, and unique to anyone that takes photos, is my eye. Capturing moments and telling stories through a still image is a big deal to me.
