As you may know, I'm a CrossFitter...and I love it! I CrossFit because it works for me and makes me feel great. It's constantly varied, always challenging, and serves my competitive needs. I don't compete, I don't wear knee socks, and I can't do a pull-up unassisted, but I still … [Read more...]

We've all heard that garbage in garbage out thing, right? It's a pretty simple concept; you can't expect to get great results when you're only willing to put in mediocre (or worse) effort. This is true for many things in life; relationships, work, education, our own self … [Read more...]

About Me

I’m a 40-something year old new mom who happens to be somewhat addicted to working out and imperfectly “eating healthy”. This is my safe place to share my journey…and give you a little insight into what goes on inside this mostly-sane brain.

Not enough scoop on me? Well, I love the ocean, sushi, chocolate cake and wine (not necessarily in that order or all together). I partake in the occasional cigar with my handsome, loving, and opinionated husband. We had a pretty awesome baby boy named Samuel Liberty, aka Sammy on October 12, 2012 and are enjoying the crazy, challenging, incredible journey of life with a new little being in our house!
