Sweet Potatoes<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Like sweet potatoes??? Yeah, me too! In fact, I think I might like them a little bit too much…I could eat them all the time! Usually I just boil them and smash ’em all up, but this time I tried something different; roasting! I’m not much of a recipe follower, I like to season and taste as I go and usually end up with some concoction that I could never duplicate but we’ll see if we can get this down for you!<\/p>\n

SO, start out with a couple of good sized sweet potatoes and peel them. Then slice into 1\/2″ disks, and then into cubes. Put all the cute little cubes into a big bowl and toss with the following:<\/p>\n

– olive oil<\/p>\n

– garlic salt<\/p>\n

– chili powder<\/p>\n

– cayenne pepper<\/p>\n

– ground black pepper<\/p>\n

– any other spice\/herb\/seasoning that sounds good<\/p>\n

Now, make sure that all the cubies are coated well and then pour them out onto a foil-lined cookie sheet (makes for easy cleanup). Put them in a 400 degree oven for about 30-40 minutes. Check to make sure they’re soft enough and then voila! You have some tasty little treats to munch on!!!<\/p>\n
