Della’s is a spot that we’ve eaten at a lot over the years. The owner’s are awesome. The staff has always been great. And the food? You guessed it, it’s always been fantastic. That’s why we go back, know what I mean? Sam loves it too. This 12 year old foodie loves their margherita pizza. The key for us is trying to get there during the week right when they open so the three of us can sit at the bar.
We honestly don’t go out to eat downtown as often as we used to due to the tourism but when we do, we pick kick ass spots like Della’s. Anyhow, I don’t feel like I need to go on and on with this one. Sam had the pizza while Annie and I shared the other two items. Here’s what we had:
Cam’s Caesar (Lolla Rossa greens, Grana Padano, caesar verde, garlic breadcrumbs) $17
Summer Parm (Crispy parmesan chicken, baby greens, feta, cucumber, cherry tomato, lemon basil vin) $25
Straight Up Now Tell Me (pizza) (buffalo mozzarella, tomato sauce, basil) $27
Regarding my comment on tourism, while I feel many places downtown focus more on tourists than they do the locals, I will say that places like Della’s have found a nice balance of taking care of both. We always feel very welcome there.
