No Wine, You Say&#8230;Well, Now WHAT???"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"zemanta-img\" style=\"margin: 1em\"><\/div>\n<p>Yeah, yeah, wine&#8217;s great and all&#8230;but what do you drink when you just aren&#8217;t in the mood for wine? \u00a0Or how about when you&#8217;re at somebody&#8217;s house and they&#8217;re not serving wine? \u00a0Or even when you go to a bar to play pool with your peeps and wine just isn&#8217;t an option that you&#8217;re feelin&#8217;? \u00a0Well, you go for something else&#8230;that&#8217;s just what you do! \u00a0So many options, so many opportunities. \u00a0Do you go with something like a cold beer? \u00a0Or do you reach for a cocktail? \u00a0Maybe a seltzer water with lime, or a soda? \u00a0Okay, maybe not, but whatever you grab, make it something you enjoy sipping on!<\/p>\n<p>Things we drink besides wine:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Vodka (with 7-Up, with Tonic, in a <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Martini\" href=\"http:\/\/www.williams-sonoma.com\/recipe\/martini.html\" rel=\"williamssonoma\">Dirty Martini<\/a>, on the rocks, <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Screwdriver (cocktail)\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Screwdriver_%28cocktail%29\" rel=\"wikipedia\">Screwdriver<\/a>, Bloody Mary&#8230;you get the idea)<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Water (All the damn time, helps when drinking the stuff above and below on the list)<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Gin (Hendricks on the rocks with a splash of something citrus, with Tonic)<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Coffee (Black, with girlie flavored creamer, with sugar, over ice with milk and stuff = Cake in a Cup, any of the above make the morning go &#8217;round)<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Beer (<a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Anheuser-Busch brands\" href=\"http:\/\/landsharklager.com\" rel=\"homepage\">Bud Light<\/a>, <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Wheat beer\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Wheat_beer\" rel=\"wikipedia\">Hefeweizen<\/a>, Dark Beer, Light Beer, Microbrews, pretty much anything with hops and barley, especially tasty after a long day of wine tasting)<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Scotch (This is Hoot&#8217;s sipper of choice when the mood strikes!)<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Once in a very long time, a great Margarita, on the Rocks using a great Tequila and lots of fresh lime!<\/p>\n<p>So&#8230;what are you drinking???<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-weight: bold\">Related articles<\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"zemanta-article-ul\">\n<li class=\"zemanta-article-ul-li\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hootnannieblog.com\/2011\/07\/wine-whats-perception-got-to-do-with-it\/\">Wine: What&#8217;s Perception Got to do with it?<\/a> (hootnannieblog.com)<\/li>\n<li class=\"zemanta-article-ul-li\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hootnannieblog.com\/2011\/06\/we-want-to-help-you-float-your-wine-boat\/\">We Want to Help You Float YOUR Wine Boat!<\/a> (hootnannieblog.com)<\/li>\n<li class=\"zemanta-article-ul-li\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hootnannieblog.com\/2011\/06\/a-blog-why-anybody-can-be-a-wine-blogger\/\">A Blog?
