Firestone Walker<\/a> recently opened their second Taproom Restaurant, the original one is located in Buellton, CA and the newest one is located across the street from their brewery on Ramada Drive in Paso Pobles.<\/p>\n

Now, to be honest we had heard mixed reviews on food and service, some good and some bad; so we recently went to the Paso location with some friends to check it out for ourselves. As per our usual, we ordered several things off the menu (as you\u2019ll see in the slideshow) and shared them in order to get more of an idea of how the food was.<\/p>\n

Well, Firestone Walker’s food was good!<\/h3>\n

This comes down to what you are looking for and what you\u2019re expecting. If you arrive at this restaurant expecting high end, gourmet food then you will be disappointed; however, if you are expecting some tasty treats while sipping on Firestone Walker beer and watching a game on one of their TVs\u2026then you\u2019ll love it.<\/p>\n

As for the service, there was a slight slow spell after we were seated but other than that there were no complaints. Again, there are times when I think people expect TOO much and times where they don\u2019t expect enough. This place is newly opened and there are always bound to be hiccups on the path toward restaurant bliss. We always recommend that people go to a restaurant several times in order to walk away with a true opinion of what the restaurant is capable of.<\/p>\n

At the end of the day Firestone Walker is a super fun place to hangout, the new joint has a great atmosphere due to the layout and d\u00e9cor\u2026any place with a decorative beer bottling line above the bar is alright by us. Go check them out and be sure to drink some of their amazing beer\u2026after all, it is a brewery!<\/p>\n

They serve several different wines and their beer, no hard booze.<\/p>\n

They are open 5 pm to 9 pm daily.<\/p>\n

Their website says 16 beers on draft.<\/p>\n

Regarding the design, I like how they word it on their website so here it is: \u201cDesigned and built by local craftsmen, The Paso Taproom features a spacious modern ambiance that echoes the brewery environment, including brushed steel, corrugated metal, rustic wood and copper appointments. Seating includes booths and tables, as well as long-table seating, whereby patrons sit side-by-side for a community dining experience<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n
