\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.halterranch.com\/\">http:\/\/www.halterranch.com\/<\/a> There&#8217;s an old Victorian on the property, right in front of the tasting room&#8230;the whole place is surrounded in vineyards and huge oak trees, and there&#8217;s not a direction that you can look in and not see something beautiful! \u00a0They&#8217;ve just built a covered bridge that leads to the new winery facility that they&#8217;re building just across the creek&#8230;which is all a nice compliment to the rustic old barn buildings and grain silo that sit on the property. \u00a0It&#8217;s a great photo opportunity out there!<\/p>\n<p>Now, on to the wine! \u00a0It&#8217;s awesome&#8230;mostly Rhone and Bordeaux varietals, they have a couple of whites, a great rose, and several bold reds. \u00a0The tasting room has a great view out into the oaks and is the perfect place to grab a glass and enjoy a picnic. \u00a0You might see Bill, the winemaker, teaching a cooking class on the veranda of the Victorian, or BBQ&#8217;ing some homemade sausages on the patio&#8230;it&#8217;s a good life at Halter Ranch. \u00a0Stop by and check it out&#8230;tell &#8217;em Hoot &#8216;n Annie sent you!
