We were invited to the Pre-Grand Opening party at the new BevMo! <\/a>in Paso Robles recently and I\u2019m not one to turn down invitations to events celebrating alcohol. If you’re not familiar with BevMo!, it’s a one-stop shop for anything and everything you’d ever dream of drinking!<\/p>\n

As you might know, we’re surrounded by over 200 wineries here in Paso Robles. There’s no shortage of good juice to sip on, that’s for sure! But every now and then we need a little something different; some microbrew beer, maybe a refreshing cocktail, you know how it goes, right? They’ve got it all from row after row of local and imported wines to foreign and domestic beers, to any hard alcohol you could ever dream of. Oh yeah, and the mixers, snacks, and cigars to pair with all of it.<\/p>\n

BevMo! Can Really Throw a Party!<\/h3>\n

BevMo! knows how to throw a party…after all, they have all the supplies for a successful party right in-store.\u00a0It was a cool gathering of people and the staff showed us around the new store\u2026they were pouring wine and serving some snacks, which was cool. They also sent us home with a couple bottles of wine which I put in our last blog post.<\/p>\n

When stores like this come in to a community you have people that are for it and those against. After all, our economy relies on people supporting the local wineries. BevMo! has a lot more to offer than just the local wine selection! I am personally for this new location here in Paso and I look forward to going in there for Vodka, Scotch, and Gin (Annie is a Hendrick’s Gin girl and will grab some after Little Browne is born). I\u2019m looking forward to their beer selection as well and trying some non-local wines. We will not be buying local Paso wines in there, we\u2019d rather go to the local tasting rooms and support the locals in that regard.<\/p>\n
