We’ve been talking more and more about food here at HnA, and there’s a very good reason for that; we LOVE eating! Well, let me rephrase that, we LOVE eating great food, especially when there’s great wine, service, and atmosphere involved. After all, what better way to spend an evening than enjoying the good things in life? Well, we recently gotten to experience a life-changing epicurean adventure! We got the opportunity to partake in a Justin Vineyards and Winery<\/a> food and wine pairing dinner at their Restaurant. If you happen to ever eat, then you need to find a way to get involved in this gastronomic miracle!<\/p>\n

What’s so Great about the Justin Restaurant???<\/h3>\n

Well, for starters, the atmosphere is beautiful! It’s serene, elegant yet understated, intimate, and remarkably comfortable. After all, you’ll be spending a few hours enjoying each morsel so you want to relax, enjoy, and focus on the important stuff. The dinner consists of 5 courses, each paired delightfully with premier Justin wines. You’ll get to choose from 3 tempting options for each course, but don’t worry…if you’re like us, you pick the two most tempting from each course and then switch with your partner half way through! That way you get more of a very good thing. Don’t worry, you won’t have to spend too much time thinking about each course as you go, as you make these important decisions when you first arrive and then let the servers do their magic while you sit back with a little starter taste of wine!<\/p>\n

I’m not going to describe each course to you, I’ll let the slideshow below do that for me…after all, a picture is worth at least a thousand words, right? I will, however, give you some of the highlights that I think you’ll really want to know! The ingredients are all seasonal and fresh. No detail is left unattended to…the fresh-baked bread is even served with an assortment of butters, each with its own color, flavor, and texture. The waitstaff is incredibly well-versed in discussing the wines, the food, the food sources, and assorted info and trivia about Justin, the grounds, and its history. You’ll get to choose something from each of the following courses: Premier, Sea, Ranch, Cheese, Sweet.<\/p>\n

We tried everything from foie gras to deconstructed seafood chowder to quail to cheesecake. It was an absolutely amazing experience and we walked away floating on a cloud of sensory overload. Each course was a whole new party in the mouth!<\/p>\n\n\n
