On August 1, 2008 Annie and I got married at the Sea Venture<\/a> Resort and Restaurant in Pismo Beach. But there\u2019s much more to this story that many of you may not know. Annie and I met on Match.com about 5 1\/2 years ago and our very first face-to-face meeting was at Sea Venture Bar in Pismo Beach. Guess what??? That\u2019s not the end of the story either!<\/span><\/p>\n

What Else is So Special about The Sea Venture???<\/h3>\n

In December of 2007 we went to Sea Venture to celebrate Annie\u2019s birthday (which is December 29) and while there, I proposed to her. So knowing all this you can understand the special place Sea Venture is for us\u2026but even still the story is not over. The folks at Sea Venture have always been amazing, from the front desk to the amazing restaurant located on the 3rd<\/sup>\u00a0floor.<\/span><\/p>\n

We\u2019ve been back each year except for one for out anniversary because when you get married at Sea Venture you get a free room every year on your anniversary, and for a small fee you can upgrade to an ocean front room, pretty awesome benefit!! Anyway, each time we\u2019ve been back to Sea Venture whether it was for an anniversary or simply stopping in to enjoy the amazing food and awesome view, the chef at the bar (Craig) and the manager (Simon) always remember us. It’s this personal touch that stands out to us because we don\u2019t go in there a ton.<\/span><\/p>\n

The food is absolutely amazing as you\u2019ll see in the photos, and as per the usual Annie and I always share apps from the bar menu and they NEVER disappoint. The view and the customer service are always top shelf. You add all that up and it\u2019s an experience we want to go back for again and again.<\/span><\/p>\n

The rooms we\u2019ve stayed in there are very nice and if you\u2019re lucky enough to get the ocean view room\u2026man, I can\u2019t say enough. I\u2019m an ocean kind of guy and each time we\u2019ve stayed there with the ocean view we end up sitting on the balcony for hours just admiring the view, people watching, and talking about all the memories we\u2019ve had in this spot. Being able to look down at that spot in the sand where we got married August 1, 2008 in front of about 25 people is pretty damn cool!<\/span><\/p>\n
