I will list my top 3 and Annie will list hers, the point of this exercise is to partially keep better tabs on the wines we have as well as spread word of our favorites in case you haven\u2019t tried them. We decided to limit it to the top 3 for each of us because it forces us to focus in on the wines that really grabbed our taste buds.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re fortunate enough to go through many incredible wines each month, mostly from the Paso Robles\/ San Luis Obispo County area, but also a handful of others. When I started thinking about my choices for the month of January I realized how tough it would be to pick just 3 but here we go\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Matt\u2019s Top 3 Wines from January 2013 (in no particular order):<\/p>\n<p>1) 2009 <a href=\"www.pearvalley.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Pear Valley<\/a> Inspiration (59% Syrah, 32% Grenache, 9% Mourvedre)<\/p>\n<p>2) 2008 <a href=\"www.detierra.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">De Tierra<\/a> Pinot Noir (Silacci Vineyard\/ Monterey)<\/p>\n<p>3) 2010 <a href=\"www.ambythestate.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Ambyth Estate<\/a> Priscus (57% Grenache Blanc, 20% Viognier, 14% Marsanne)<\/p>\n<p>Annie\u2019s Top 3 Wines from January 2013 (in no particular order):<\/p>\n<p>1) 2010  <a href=\"www.ambythestate.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Ambyth Estate<\/a> Priscus (57% Grenache Blanc, 20% Viognier, 14% Marsanne)<\/p>\n<p>2) <a href=\"www.greywolfcellars.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Barton <\/a>&#8220;E Street&#8221; Tempranillo<\/p>\n<p>3) 2010 <a href=\"www.bodegadeedgar.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Bodega de Edgar<\/a>, Albarin\u0303o\/Chardonnay\/Roussanne\/Viognier &#8220;La Gu\u0308era&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>So there you have it. Certainly some interesting wines in January, in fact, all three of my (Matt\u2019s) picks I had not had before.
