We\u2019re trying to boost the economy one bottle at a time.<\/p>\n<p>Our most recent stop was <a href=\"http:\/\/anglimwinery.com\/anglimwinery.php\" target=\"_blank\">Anglim Winery<\/a> which is conveniently located at the train station in downtown Paso Robles. The tasting room is super cool, it just feels classic small town, quaint, and charming. The old wood floors are really beautiful\u2026I actually would love something like that in our house.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Steffanie Anglim was there to pour for us and she\u2019s always awesome. We took Annie\u2019s mom in since she had not been there before and it was good enough for her to join the wine club! If you\u2019re lucky enough when you drop in, Steffanie\u2019s daughter, Sophia, will be in there too. She\u2019s a very clever little one that will sell you anything from Girl Scout cookies to stories that she writes!! How awesome is that?!?!<\/p>\n<p>Now to the wine:<\/p>\n<p>2010 Viognier (Bien Nacido Vineyard)<\/p>\n<p>2008 Cameo (Viognier, Grenache Blanc, Roussanne)<\/p>\n<p>2009 Viognier-Roussanne (Hastings Ranch Vineyard)<\/p>\n<p>2009 Pinot Noir (Fiddlestix Vineyard)<\/p>\n<p>2008 Pinot Noir (Jack Ranch)<\/p>\n<p>2008 Grenache (Vista Creek Vineyard)<\/p>\n<p>2010 Zinfandel (St. Peter of Alcantara)<\/p>\n<p>2007 Cabernet Sauvignon (Old Bailey Vineyard)<\/p>\n<p>2006 Gorgeous (Port-style Dessert Wine)<\/p>\n<p>My opinion\u2026all the wines were very nice and on this particular day the Cameo, the Viognier-Roussanne, the Jack Ranch Pinot Noir, and the Grenache blew my socks off!! We opened a bottle of that Jack Ranch Pinot Noir several days later for some friends at home that had not had it before and they all loved it!<\/p>\n<p>There you have it my Paso wine loving friends.
