Having been a pretty strict iPhone <\/a>user the last several years it has been extremely interesting to have the opportunity to play with these Android <\/a>devices via the Verizon <\/a>group I\u2019m part of (#vzwbuzz<\/a>). I\u2019m not all that techie but they have been easy to figure out and navigate which is always nice because I hate reading directions\u2026what can I say, must be the testosterone.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s been crazy to watch the big move toward small devices and small screens but then seeing a bit of a push toward increasing the size a bit. Think tablets. And now even phones are starting to go bigger than they were a couple of years ago. The LG G2<\/a> is an example of a phone with a huge screen in comparison to the iPhone, the LG G2 having a 5.2 inch 1080 x 1920 display while the iPhone is a 4 inch 640 x 1136.<\/p>\n

I have not made up my mind whether I like the bigger screen or the smaller. When it\u2019s in my pocket I prefer the small one but when I\u2019m messing with phone photography I like the bigger one. First world problems I suppose so I won\u2019t whine too much about it.<\/p>\n

As I mentioned though, I really do love taking photos with my phone\u2026it\u2019s probably my number one activity when using a smartphone. Other than taking pictures I\u2019d say I use it in this order from most to least: checking email and\/ or texting, social media, and lastly as a phone. Imagine that, it\u2019s a cell phone and it\u2019s become used less as a phone in my life and more as everything else.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve taken tons of pics of Sammy as well as of all the wine bottles I drink\u2026you know, for business purposes. I can\u2019t say enough about the quality of the photos. I do, in this sense, love the larger screen. I was also impressed with all the options inside the camera<\/a>. The three buttons on the back of the phone were also quite unique\u2026as in I\u2019ve never had a smartphone with those. One of those was to take the all important selfie without breaking a finger.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s all I got for now. Well done LG and Verizon, I can definitely see why this phone became so popular!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
