This past Saturday we headed to downtown Paso Robles with two goals in mind\u20261) have fun and 2) taste some sustainable Paso Robles wine so I can review them for a new gig I have on cookingstoned.tv<\/a>. Both goals were well accomplished.<\/p>\n

We headed over to D\u2019Anbino Cellars<\/a> (they are SIP Certified) first, which is over at the train station. We\u2019ve been there many times in the past for live music. It\u2019s a pretty rad place to hang out and listen to music. You may even catch the D\u2019Anbino crew in there playing instruments and singing if you\u2019re lucky. A talented bunch.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s what we tasted at D\u2019Anbino:<\/p>\n

2012 Rose $18.00<\/p>\n

2007 Orchestration (65% Syrah, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Petite Sirah) $28.00<\/p>\n

2011 Quadraphonic (80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Syrah, 5% Cabernet Franc, 5% Merlot) $28.00<\/p>\n

While at the train station we decided to stop into Anglim Winery<\/a> and say hi to Steffanie, of course we can never go there and not buy wine. We didn\u2019t go through their whole lineup because I was trying to keep my palate fresh for the rest of our tasting adventure.<\/p>\n

From there we headed over to Burbank Ranch<\/a> (they are SIP Certified) to taste and grab some lunch. We had not yet eaten there but heard it was really good. Burbank Ranch is over on Park St. where the Paso Wine Center used to be. Cool location and the people were awesome. We ordered a cheese and meat plate which was pretty damn awesome and also shared the Cuban sandwich with a bowl of tomato bisque. The food was incredible\u2026in my opinion.<\/p>\n

So that was our Saturday. As you know we always love going downtown and hanging out. Sammy did great as well and polished a few tasting room floors, way to go little buddy. I\u2019m really wanting to get over to the new Law Estate Winery as well as Rasmussen. Heard good things about both. Any wineries on your radar that are new or that you\u2019re just really loving right now??<\/p>\n\n\n
