Well, it\u2019s good to be back and feeling much better. For those that were unaware, our household was attacked by the flu this week\u2026not fun trying to take care of a child while Annie and I both have that going on. So it goes, we\u2019re back on track!<\/p>\n

As you may have seen from our post on Monday, we spent last weekend in Cambria to get away from the little dude for a couple of days. One of the things we did was finally make our way to Stolo Family Winery<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The facility is beautiful and it\u2019s surrounded by some exquisite country living. It\u2019s surrounded by vineyards and green rolling hills while be tucked back away from the noise and traffic. A perfect spot for a picnic if you ask me.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s what we tasted at Stolo:<\/h3>\n

2012 Stolo Family Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc $18.00<\/p>\n

2009 Stolo Family Vineyards Chardonnay$18.00<\/p>\n

2011 Stolo Family Vineyards Chardonnay$21.00<\/p>\n

2011 Stolo Family Vineyards Pinot Noir $36.00<\/p>\n

2009 TreViti Wines, Christopher Joyce Vineyard Zinfandel $18.00<\/p>\n

2007 TreViti Wines, Stolo Family Vineyards Syrah $21.00<\/p>\n

The TreViti label is becoming the Stolo Family Vineyards label for the sake of simplicity but for now they have some of that label left.<\/p>\n

We enjoyed all the wines really. The standouts for me were the Chards and the Pinot Noir. It\u2019s always interesting tasting Chards that are a bit older than what most normally drink. This 2009 Chard had some good funk to it and was quite nice. Annie preferred that one while I preferred the 2011. The Syrah was also well done and you can\u2019t beat the price points.<\/p>\n

Maria, Stolo family member, and Angie were awesome in the tasting room. Great customer service, knowledgeable, and conversational. It really is a fun little spot in one of the Central Coasts great little towns.<\/p>\n
