California versus everyone else.<\/p>\n
Wine writers versus wine bloggers.<\/p>\n
If you are at all involved in the wine industry\/ business you know what I am talking about. Quite frankly, it\u2019s a joke. It\u2019s no different than any other subject in the world, if you don\u2019t have anything nice to say than shut the f&%$ up. I simply don\u2019t get it.<\/p>\n
Sure, friendly conversation between people that are open minded and having a good time is one thing but for all the rest\u2026let it go. Are you trying to intimidate people into believing your opinion or side? How is that going for you?<\/p>\n
For all those that have had some snobby ass remark regarding the above \u201cwar of wine\u201d scenarios (or other scenarios that I neglected to mention)\u2026how many minds have you changed? I have seen heated exchanges online (mainly Facebook and Twitter), in blog posts and the comments on those blog posts, and in person; and I am absolutely baffled.<\/p>\n
If people want to by Charles Shaw and drink the bird parts and spiders that are \u2018supposedly\u2019 put into it who cares? If you don\u2019t like it don\u2019t drink it. People that drink California Chardonnay (I do) are not bad people. People that buy Charles Shaw are not bad people. People that do the opposite of you in regards to wine are not bad people.<\/p>\n
I\u2019m down with you having your holier than thou attitude but I think myself, along with the rest of the world, would greatly appreciate it if you would just keep it to yourself. Is your life that miserable that you need to challenge wine writers or wine bloggers (depending on which side of the fence you lean)? Do you lack a certain happiness in life that leads you to bash those that drink buttery Chardonnay or $5.00 Pinot Noir?<\/p>\n
It\u2019s going to be okay. I promise you. Take a deep breath. Grab a glass of wine. Hang out with the family and friends you love. Then\u2026just smile. In fact, laugh. Laugh out loud, loudly out loud. This life is so ridiculously short. There is no need to bash others for the opinions they have\u2026ESPECIALLY OVER WINE. It\u2019s wine for Christ\u2019s sake. It\u2019s the fermented juice of love. It represents good times, good food, and good people.<\/p>\n
