This was our first year at Beaverstock<\/a> and long story short, it was absolutely perfect!<\/p>\n

Now we\u2019ll get to the long story.<\/p>\n

Beaverstock is a two day event (Saturday<\/span> and Sunday<\/span>) packed with exceptional live music, beer, wine, food, and so much more. We had a friend in from Phoenix, another from Auburn, CA., and Annie’s mom came up to all join in the fun with us.<\/p>\n

The best way I can describe the vibe is a combination of hippy, backyard BBQ, relaxed, no worries and no hurries, music extravaganza. Day one, which is the day we went, the main stage line-up was Proxima Parada<\/a>, Moonshiner Collective<\/a>, Eric Bibb<\/a>, The Band of Heathens<\/a>, and Allen Stone<\/a>. There was a second stage which they added for entertainment between acts on the main stage.<\/p>\n

Day two, which we did not attend, had Jill Knight<\/a>, Zongo All Stars<\/a>, Sean Hayes<\/a>, Hot Buttered Rum<\/a>, and Los Lobos<\/a>. The first band started at 1pm<\/span> and music went until 9pm<\/span> both days. I may be mistaken (but I\u2019m hardly ever wrong) but there is not another event like this on the Central Coast.<\/p>\n

On top of the music there was disc golf and corn hole (if you don\u2019t know what that is Google it), art, yoga, a kid\u2019s area, the AMAZING food court area, Castoro Cellars<\/a> wine, and beer from Firestone Walker<\/a>, Toro Creek<\/a>, BarrelHouse<\/a>, and Molly Pitcher<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This event seriously could not have been any better. As if all this weren\u2019t enough, Beaverstock 2014 is a benefit for the Templeton Education Foundation<\/a>. All this fun packed into a good cause\u2026well played.<\/p>\n

I was super stoked to be able to bring Sammy (our almost 2 year old son) to the event. He did great and to see how they made it kid friendly was beyond what I expected walking in. There really isn\u2019t much more for me to say, check out the pictures in the slideshow below.<\/p>\n
