Some of my favorite things about Paso Robles happen in the month of December. The Christmas Light Parade and the Vine Street Victorian Showcase to name a couple.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Below you will see the few I am highlighting here with a link to Travel Paso for details:<\/p>\n<p><span>December 6th<\/span> &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/travelpaso.com\/events\/art-after-dark-paso\" target=\"_blank\">Art After Dark<\/a> (This is always fun)<\/p>\n<p><span>December 6th<\/span> &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/travelpaso.com\/events\/53rd-annual-christmas-light-parade\" target=\"_blank\">53rd Annual Christmas Light Parade<\/a> (This is part of what makes Paso the quaint little town it is)<\/p>\n<p><span>December 7th<\/span> &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/travelpaso.com\/events\/wild-lights-zoo-youwild\" target=\"_blank\">Wild Lights at Zoo to You<\/a> (Never been to this but Zoo to You is a great group)<\/p>\n<p><span>December 13th &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/travelpaso.com\/events\/28th-annual-vine-street-victorian-showcase\" target=\"_blank\">28th<\/a><\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/travelpaso.com\/events\/28th-annual-vine-street-victorian-showcase\" target=\"_blank\"> Annual Vine Street Victorian Showcase<\/a> (This is awesome. We\u2019ve been many times and love it. Go early, it can get crowded)<\/p>\n<p><span>December 31st<\/span> &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/travelpaso.com\/events\/new-years-eve-glow-park\" target=\"_blank\">New Year\u2019s Eve \u201cGlow In the Park\u201d<\/a> (We aren\u2019t going to this but you should, you\u2019ll have a blast\u2026I promise)<\/p>\n<p>Aside from the above mentioned events I know that many of the local wineries do Christmas related things. For example, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eberlewinery.com\/events\/\" target=\"_blank\">Eberle Winery<\/a> always decorates the tasting room and caves with beautiful Christmas d\u00e9cor, including Gary\u2019s awesome train. Don\u2019t forget that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.brokenearthwinery.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Broken Earth Winery<\/a> has their huge outside Christmas light display up through the month (see the schedule below). Worth checking out for sure. You just have to get out there and explore.<\/p>\n<p>Happy December folks!<\/p>\n<p>Broken Earth&#8217;s light display hours are as follows:<\/p>\n<p>Weather permitting (they can\u2019t have them on in the rain) on\u00a0<span class=\"aBn\"><span class=\"aQJ\">this Friday Dec. 5th until 7pm<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>Not on\u00a0<span class=\"aBn\"><span class=\"aQJ\">this Saturday<\/span><\/span>\u00a0as the Parade is happening.<\/p>\n<p>Then next weekend\u00a0<span class=\"aBn\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Friday<\/span><\/span>,\u00a0<span class=\"aBn\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Saturday<\/span><\/span>\u00a0&amp;\u00a0Sunday until 7pm\u00a0and the Tasting Room will be open the same hours.<\/p>\n<p>The lights will be on week days when not raining until\u00a0<span class=\"aBn\"><span class=\"aQJ\">7pm<\/span><\/span>\u00a0but the Tasting Room will be closed at\u00a0<span class=\"aBn\"><span class=\"aQJ\">5pm<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Here we go, another year almost in the book and overall I\u2019d say another banner year here in El Paso de Robles.
