Although Wild Horse Winery<\/a> is technically in Templeton, it is part of the general idea of the \u201cPaso Robles wine scene\u201d\u2026which is why I used Paso and Templeton in the title.<\/p>\n

Now that this is cleared up, we haven\u2019t been to Wild Horse in years but had been a couple times prior and enjoyed our time. One of those times was part of a \u2018media tour\u2019 which was an absolute blast. Hanging out with some other writers as well as Wild Horse winemakers and staff to taste through a bunch of their Pinot Noirs was heaven. I\u2019m a Pinot whore if you didn\u2019t know.<\/p>\n

Annie and I each tasted five wines on the menu. I don\u2019t remember what Annie tried but here\u2019s what I had:<\/p>\n

2013 Malvasia Bianca $22.00<\/p>\n

2013 Vioginer $17.00<\/p>\n

2012 Blaufrankisch $26.00<\/p>\n

2012 Reserve Malbec $34.00<\/p>\n

2012 Reserve Merlot $35.00<\/p>\n

I enjoyed everything I tried but the Malvasia Bianca and Blaufrankisch are always fun because they are rare to our area. The Malbec and Merlot were quite tasty too. Chantel, the awesome chick that poured for us, was cool to chat with and knew her stuff\u2026which is always nice. Overall, another great central coast wine experience.<\/p>\n\n\n
