Many months ago I had posed this question on three different Facebook pages that I run: \u201cIf someone came into Paso Robles from out of town, which restaurant would you refer them to for a great meal?\u201d As usual, some of the answers didn\u2019t make sense to me (you\u2019ll see why when you read below) and some people voted for more than one restaurant so I included each of the votes.<\/p>\n

1st<\/sup> Thomas Hill Organics \u2013 17 votes<\/p>\n 2nd<\/sup> Artisan \u2013 16 votes<\/p>\n 3rd<\/sup> Villa Creek \u2013 10 votes<\/p>\n Tie 4th: McPhee\u2019s (not in Paso Robles but allowing it on list), Il Cortile \u2013 8 votes each<\/p>\n Tie 5th: Fish Gaucho, Pappy McGregor\u2019s \u2013 6 votes each<\/p>\n Tie6th: Second Press, Robert\u2019s \u2013 5 votes each<\/p>\n Tie 7th: Berry Hill Bistro, Buona Tavola, Yanagi \u2013 4 votes each<\/p>\n Tie 8th: Panolivo, Bistro Laurent, Odyssey World Caf\u00e9, Basil, Hoover\u2019s Beef Palace (now closed), The Grill at Hunter Ranch Golf Course \u2013 3 votes each<\/p>\n Tie 9th: Cowgirl Caf\u00e9, La Cosecha, Jackie\u2019s Korean, Firestone, The Dish (now closed), Sanchos on Spring (now closed), Estrella, Joe\u2019s Place \u2013 2 votes each<\/p>\n Tie 10th: Enoteca, Red Brick (new name, new owners too I believe), Full Belly Deli, Goshi, Paso Terra, Loading Chute, Tortilla Town, Taco Bell, La Mexicana, Jaffa Caf\u00e9, Cool Hand Lukes, Pony Club, Red Scooter Deli, Chico\u2019s Papi\u2019s Mexican Food, Creagor\u2019s Deli \u2013 1 vote each<\/p>\n It\u2019s a pretty odd list to me for the most part. It didn\u2019t go the way I thought it would in some ways. I\u2019m thinking I will try this again and see what answers change. It\u2019s a fun experiment anyways.
