It felt like we hadn\u2019t been to Villa Creek Restaurant<\/a> in a while so on a recent \u2018date day\u2019 (just means we had a babysitter) we stopped in to see what was happening on the menu. We ordered the guacamole, chips, and salsa because it\u2019s really freakin\u2019 good. The salsa has this great smoky characteristic to it. I could drink that straight up through a straw.<\/p>\n

We also ordered the \u2018Beef Sugo Pizza\u2019 (braised beef sauce, bel paese, arugula $13.00) which we had not had before and I loved it. I loved the crust and the beef was absolutely delicious. Annie and I just shared those two dishes and it was perfect. Filling enough without feeling overly full.<\/p>\n

If I\u2019m not mistaken this was our second or third lunch there and I\u2019m still convinced that opening for lunch was a great move on their part. The food is really good and the freshening up they\u2019ve done in there has really perked the place up.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s it folks. A short post today but I wanted to throw the reminder out there that downtown Paso Robles has some fantastic lunch spots\u2026so get down there and support local business.<\/p>\n\n\n
