You may recall we did a Q&amp;A with them back on May 5 of this year. I\u2019m always curious what they are working on at different times of the year and what trouble they are getting in to next. They seem to have come out of nowhere and are now selling their produce to many different places as you\u2019ll see in one of the answers below.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Be sure to check them out and I want to thank Zina and Seth yet again for taking the time to answer these questions and for growing amazing local food. You can check out the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.threeadventure.com\/hootnannie\/2015\/05\/05\/qa-with-loo-loo-farms-in-paso-robles\/\" target=\"_blank\">first Q&amp;A we did with them here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Matt: It&#8217;s July, what&#8217;s happening on the farm (what being harvested, what&#8217;s coming soon)?<\/strong><br \/>\nSeth &amp; Zina: July begins the main harvest period for the farm&#8217;s summer vegetables and fruit. We are currently harvesting tomatoes, peppers, corn, watermelon, plums, peaches, apricots&#8230;and the list goes on. We will be seeing a larger variety of melons coming on soon as well as our beans, apples, quince and later season plums.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Matt: What are your top 3 biggest sellers&#8230;I&#8217;m assuming tomatoes are a big one?<\/strong><br \/>\nSeth &amp; Zina: Our three biggest sellers are tomatoes, stone fruit, and surprisingly, edible flowers. We researched the world of edible flowers, their different flavors and health benefits, and chose a selection that would do well in our area. It has been a big hit with local chefs and artisan food producers and has been a great addition to the farm.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Matt: Will there be any big changes over the next 30 days in regards to what will be coming on?<\/strong><br \/>\nSeth &amp; Zina: The next thirty days will stay consistant with summer crops. The next big switch is into the fall crops including arugula, spinach, brussel sprouts, pumpkins, fall squash, etc. We are in the window of planting times for these things.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Matt: Any other information you would like to share?<\/strong><br \/>\nSeth &amp; Zina: Thank you to Thomas Hill Organics, The Hatch, The Haymarket, Granada Bistro, The Restaurant at JUSTIN, Foremost Wine Co, Ocean Grill and Mason Bar for continued support and creative use of Loo Loo Farms Produce!
