We were in Templeton on a recent weekend and decided to go to McPhee\u2019s Grill<\/a> for lunch. I\u2019ve written about McPhee\u2019s before in regards to their dinner, which is amazing, but I haven\u2019t had lunch there and Annie had never had lunch there.<\/p>\n

All I can say is that the lunch is much like their dinner in that they do not disappoint.<\/p>\n

I had their ABC Burger ($17.00) and it\u2019s definitely one of the best in North County. Annie had the Jumbo Shrimp & Mango Salad ($18.00) and based on her lack of talking to me during lunch I\u2019m guessing it was good. They have a killer kid\u2019s menu and from that we ordered a cheeseburger for Sammy.<\/p>\n

The food was terrific and the service was perfect. They were friendly with Sammy and the food and drink arrived at the table in good time. By drink I mean wine\u2026of course. Annie and I each had the Baker & Brain Rose which tasted delightful on a warm summer day on the central coast.<\/p>\n
