So, Lefondusac is actually a winery bar owned by two fellas, Stew and JP. There is also a label poured there called Golden Triangle which is owned by Stew and Michelle, along with two other folks.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The vibe here is seriously cool. Stew and JP are a riot. Fun guys that know their stuff but just fun to hang out with. You\u2019ll see some photos below but I really dig how they\u2019ve decorated the place and when the back door is rolled up you have an awesome view and if you\u2019re lucky you\u2019ll see a train roll by. The back of their winery is right by the track. They have plans to really fix up the back and make it a destination and an experience rather than just tasting wine.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re really looking forward to that. It seems the overall goal for everyone in Tin City is to make it a place to come be, rather than looking to move on to the next place. Lefondusac is another that I think is doing it right. I feel they have embodied the Tin City vibe really well. Not that there is one vibe but you certainly feel a sense of community from all of them.<\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s get down to business.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s what we tasted at Lefondusac:<\/p>\n<p>2014 Sauvignon Blanc &#8211; Santa Ynez Valley $7.00 per glass<\/p>\n<p>2014 Albarino $7.00 per glass<\/p>\n<p>2013 Pinot Noir &#8211; Westside Hilltop $9.00 per glass<\/p>\n<p>2014 Syrah \u2013 Paso 100% whole cluster $9.00 per glass<\/p>\n<p>2012 Cabernet Sauvignon \u2013 Westside $8.00 per glass<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s what we tasted from Golden Triangle:<\/p>\n<p>2013 Cab Syrah &#8211; 50% whole cluster blended with 50% whole cluster Cabernet &#8211; Willow Creek Ava<\/p>\n<p>2013 Syrah &#8211; 50% whole cluster &#8211; Willow Creek Ava<\/p>\n<p>This was my first time tasting the wines and I was impressed. We walked away with a bottle of the Lefondusac Cab Sauv and one of the Pinot Noir but really enjoyed the rest. After the tasting I had a glass of the Albarino as well.<\/p>\n<p>If you still haven\u2019t been to Tin City, you need to go. It\u2019s where all the cool kids are hanging out.
