I know, I know\u2026why has it taken so long to get there? Because we live in Paso and it\u2019s just easier to go somewhere closer when we have a limited number of babysitter hours.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Anyway, Bristols was fun. I\u2019ve had their original cider a bunch and love it but here what we tasted on this visit:<\/p>\n<p>Bristols Original Cider \u2013 Delicious blend of a variety of apples finished mostly dry.<\/p>\n<p>The Brigstock \u2013 A slightly sweeter version of the Bristols original cider, with a hint of residual sugar.<\/p>\n<p>The Barti Ddu \u2013 100% Granny Smith apples and dry hopped with Belma, Fuggle, and U.K. Challenger hops.<\/p>\n<p>The Skimmington \u2013 A traditional British farmhouse-style cider. No carbonation and fermented with brettanomyces.<\/p>\n<p>The Mangelwurzel \u2013 Fuji, Braeburn, and Granny Smith apples co-fermented with local organic bulls blood beets.<\/p>\n<p>My favorites were the Original Cider, the Brigstock, and the Mangelwurzel was super interesting with the beets. The joint is fun, cool vibe. Great spot to hang out.<\/p>\n<p>Now, on to Street Side Ale House. Another spot that has a super fun vibe. We definitely want to go back to this spot to check out more of the food though. We shared the Street Fries (pepperoncini, smoked bacon, pepperjack cream, rosemary, parmesan, gorgonzola $9.00) and they were amazing.<\/p>\n<p>You can check out the rest of t<a href=\"http:\/\/www.streetsidealehouse.com\/menu.html\" target=\"_blank\">heir menu here<\/a>, it sounds amazing! Not much else to say about this spot as of now but I guarantee I will go do more homework there to make sure it\u2019s all good. Turned into a fun day in A-Town, thanks to Lisa, Janice, and Katy for hanging with Annie and I.
