We recently went back to experience another exceptional meal from Chef Maegan Loring\u2026and of course, enjoy some Niner wine.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>As usual, the service was fantastic and the views of Heart Hill from the patio are truly spectacular (be sure to look in the photo slideshow below to see what I mean). It was great chatting with our friend Lisa that works there and we appreciate that Maegan came out to talk with us. It\u2019s always fun conversation and good catching up on the food side of things at Niner. Last, but not least, the folks that took care of us were on top of it as well. Another great experience from A to Z.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s what we ate:<\/p>\n<p>Burrata \u2013 cow\u2019s milk, curried carrot, carrot top pesto, pita chips $9.00<\/p>\n<p>Noodle Bowl \u2013 roasted pork belly, soft boiled egg, pickled ginger $19.00<\/p>\n<p>P.E.I Mussels \u2013 tomato fennel broth, Italian sausage, chickpeas, orange gremolata $15.00 (compliments of the Chef)<\/p>\n<p>Duck Mole \u2013 sorghum grain, queso fresco, cilantro $21.00<\/p>\n<p>The wines we had, between the two if us, were:<\/p>\n<p>2014 Silhouette Du Coeur $10.00 per glass<\/p>\n<p>2013 Chardonnay $12.00<\/p>\n<p>2012 Malbec $14.00<\/p>\n<p>2013 Pinot Noir $16.00<\/p>\n<p>Each dish was very unique and had some standout points. The burrata was awesome but that curried carrot was really nice and I wasn\u2019t expecting that. The noodle bowl was really nice with great flavors. I\u2019ve been hung up on noddle bowl\/ramen dishes like this lately. The mussel dish had one of the best broths I\u2019ve had in a while, really good! Duck mole. Not much else to say other than\u2026Duck. Mole. I do not have much experience with mole but this had massive flavor and lots of rich spices.<\/p>\n<p>We have to clap it up for Maegan and the gang once again. Thank you so much for another great food and wine experience in Paso Robles! Lastly, be sure to check out the shots of their kitchen garden.
