{"id":5607,"date":"2016-05-11T14:32:10","date_gmt":"2016-05-11T21:32:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.threeadventure.com\/hootnannie\/?p=5607"},"modified":"2016-05-11T14:32:10","modified_gmt":"2016-05-11T21:32:10","slug":"pomar-junction-vineyard-train-wreck-friday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.threeadventure.com\/hootnannie\/2016\/05\/11\/pomar-junction-vineyard-train-wreck-friday\/","title":{"rendered":"Pomar Junction Vineyard: Train Wreck Friday"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I\u2019m not sure how long <a href=\"http:\/\/pomarjunction.com\/\">Pomar Junction Winery<\/a> has been doing these <a href=\"http:\/\/pomarjunction.com\/index.php\/13-latest-events\/128-train-wreck-friday\">Train Wreck <span data-term=\"goog_402895160\">Friday<\/span><\/a> music nights but I can say this was our first one. I\u2019m glad we finally made it out because we had a blast. They do it every other week and it\u2019s set up on the patio\/ deck area next to the tasting room overlooking vineyards.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>This night it was the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.funlivemusic.com\/\">Mighty Croon Dogs<\/a> performing and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.steinscatering.com\/\">Stein\u2019s Catering<\/a> was there with some seriously good food. Annie\u2019s mom met us out there so between the three adults and Sammy, we ordered the burrito, the pulled pork sandwich, and the tri-tip sandwich to share. It\u2019s super tough for me to pick a favorite since I thought each was amazing. I\u2019d happily order any of them again.<\/p>\n<p>As for the wine, we did by the glass and bottle thing. The Roussanne and Rose were my favorites of the evening. The wine and food helped keep us warm too. It was a windy, chilly evening with a threat of possible sprinkles but the rain never materialized. The crowd wasn\u2019t as big as it normally is due to that but it was still decent.<\/p>\n<p>The added clouds rolling around added for some fun photo-ops for me though. You\u2019ll see how beautiful it was in the slideshow below. That about wraps it up. I strongly encourage you to get out to one of their Train Wreck\u2019s this season. It really is a great venue, you feel far away from \u201ceveryday life\u201d when you\u2019re at Pomar.
