I know, we go there quite a bit so how can it really be an adventure? Well, this time we headed up a little further north to a different area of Moonstone Beach that we had not been to before. This section was more rocky than sandy but still beautiful.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The nice side effect of the rockiness were the tide pools. Sammy got to see crabs, sea snails, sea urchin, and more. It was super cool and of course it\u2019s nice to get to the beach but it\u2019s even better when it can be a learning situation too. He seemed to enjoy it quite a bit but when it comes to a toddler, you do have to stay with him and make sure he isn\u2019t stepping on any of the sea life.<\/p>\n<p>After exploring there for a while we decided to head into town. We hit up 927 Beer Company, formerly known as Cambria Beer Company, for a beer. Annie had the Ghost Belgian Wit and I had the Amber Ale. The beer wasn\u2019t bad but in the last 6 months I haven\u2019t been drinking beer hardly at all. So I think my \u201cbeer buds\u201d are a bit off. The owner was behind the counter and was super nice.<\/p>\n<p>From there we wondered down to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.blackhandcellars.com\/\">Black Hand Cellars<\/a>. You can check out their <a href=\"http:\/\/www.blackhandcellars.com\/wines\/\">wines here<\/a>. We enjoyed the 2014 Sovereignty (white blend $24.00) and several of the reds. One of which we took home with us, the Raketir (61% Petit Verdot 27% Tempranillo 12% Syrah $25.00). Gino (or Geno) poured for us and he was a cool dude that was quite comfortable talking about the wines\u2026obviously knew his stuff.<\/p>\n<p>So that\u2019s that for today.
