We recently went out to Jada Vineyard<\/a> to do some wine tasting with our friend Sean. It had been years since we had tasted there but figured it was time to revisit. Jada Vineyard is on Vineyard Drive which is one of the most beautiful wine country drives you can take.<\/p>\n

Upon arrival we were told we could go out on the covered, second floor patio and someone would be out to take care of us. Now that\u2019s a great way to taste. The patio is open and the views are rolling hills of vineyards and oak trees. Hard to beat that.<\/p>\n

Another friend of ours, Alyssa, was working and took fantastic care of the three of us. She was knowledgeable about the wines as well as the cheese pairing\u2026which, by the way, was so good. The cheese for each wine was provided by Vivant Fine Cheese<\/a> in downtown Paso Robles.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s what we tasted:<\/p>\n

2015 1149 Rose (100% Estate Mourvedre) \u2013 100% biodynamic farming practices $28.00<\/p>\n

2014 XCV (37% Estate Grenache Blanc 33% Estate Viognier 30% Estate Roussanne) – 100% biodynamic farming practices $38.00 \u2013 Paired with Mango Ginger Stilton<\/p>\n

2011 Malstria (Estate Syrah, Estate Cabernet Sauvignon, Estate Merlot) $32.00 \u2013 Paired with 5 Year Gouda<\/p>\n

2012 Jersey Girl (96% Estate Syrah 3% Estate Roussanne 1% Estate Viognier \u2013 co-fermented) $50.00 \u2013 Paired with Ewephoria<\/p>\n

2013 Strayts (75% Estate Merlot 25% Estate Cabernet Sauvignon) $50.00 \u2013 Paired with Bella Vitano Gold<\/p>\n

2012 Hell\u2019s Kitchen (55% Estate Syrah 27% Estate Grenache 17% Estate Mourvedere 0.5% Estate Viognier 0.5% Estate Roussanne) $55.00 \u2013 Paired with Midnight<\/span> Moon<\/p>\n

All three of us thought the wines were quite nice. I\u2019d even say I enjoyed them more on this visit. The cheese pairings were spot on too. If I had to pick a couple of favorites with the wine I\u2019d go with the Rose, the Malstria, and the Strayts…but again, I honestly liked each one. My favorite cheese was the 5-year Gouda, so good! The pairing with the Strayts and Hell\u2019s Kitchen were perfection.<\/p>\n
