They are conveniently located downtown on Park St. The location they\u2019re in was formerly a kid\u2019s clothing store and prior to that it was a Subway (hi Jared). I\u2019m sure it\u2019s been other things but that\u2019s what I remember it being.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Anyways, cool spot. They did a great job decorating the place, upscale casual. With the seating areas and tables, it strikes me as a tasting room that is more of a hangout spot rather than go in, taste, and get out. It\u2019s a very inviting space.<\/p>\n<p>Dan Tudor\u2019s (winemaker and co-owner with his cousin Christian Tudor) wife, Bow Thai (a nickname), was in the tasting room to pour for us and she was great. Easy to chat with, knew the wine (obviously), and being new to the Paso area it was fun sharing our favorite places. Let\u2019s move on to the wine.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s what we tasted:<\/p>\n<p>2007 Balo Vineyard, Anderson Valley, Pinot Noir $68.00<\/p>\n<p>2009 Tondre Vineyard SLH Pinot Noir $68.00<\/p>\n<p>2014 Tudor Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir $56.00<\/p>\n<p>2014 Nacina Dry Riesling, Tondre Vineyard SLH $29.00<\/p>\n<p>2015 Highlands Project Chardonnay $36.00<\/p>\n<p>A flight is four wines so I had the Riesling and Annie had the Chardonnay. The wines were really nice. As a huge Pinot Noir fan, I found them to be right up there with some of my favorites. I haven\u2019t had many Riesling\u2019s I like but this one was really good. Tudor Wines is a great addition to our downtown food and wine scene.
