Art Bar SLO Permanently Moves to The Station<\/strong><\/p>\n

The relocation to the popular wine bar and wine shop provides more space and <\/em>a more diverse wine selection
\nfor participants of the thriving Art Bar series <\/em><\/p>\n

Dec. 8, 2016 (San Luis Obispo, Calif.) \u2013 The Granada Hotel & Bistro<\/a> and The Station<\/a> are proud to announce the popular Art Bar SLO<\/strong> has moved from its Granada space to its new, permanent home at The Station, the Central Coast\u2019s preeminent wine bar and wine shop located at 311 Higuera St. in downtown San Luis Obispo.<\/p>\n

The Station will continue as a wine bar and shop, curating San Luis Obispo\u2019s best wine selection and hosting wine-centric and art-and-craft inspired events Tuesday<\/span><\/span> through Saturday<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n

The Station\u2019s ample, airy space with easy parking \u2013 and well-curated wine collection \u2013 is the perfect atmosphere for the growing and popular Art Bar SLO, says Kimberly Walker, the founder of Granada Hotel & Bistro, The Station and Art Bar SLO.<\/p>\n

\u201cArt Bar has become immensely popular, so hosting it now at our larger sister property, The Station, just makes more sense. It\u2019s bigger, yet still intimate and the lighting is ideal. It also raises the caliber of the wine experience\u2014a key component of Art Bar SLO,\u201d Walker says. \u201cWe and our Art Bar guests are just thrilled about this.\u201d<\/p>\n

Art Bar SLO\u2019s mission is to bring people together in a fun, lively and casual atmosphere to express themselves through art. Whether you are an aspiring artist or just looking to explore your creative side, Art Bar SLO will help you create your own individual painting or craft piece.<\/p>\n

Held four to five times a week at The Station, Art Bar SLO provides its guests with all the art supplies, guidance and technical instruction from one of its resident professional artists, along with a glass of seasonal wine selected by The Station\u2019s Certified Sommelier, Jenna Congdon \u2013 all for just $40. Additional wine (or beer, cider or non-alcoholic drinks) can be selected from The Station\u2019s vast, approachable and eclectic list.<\/p>\n

The Station is San Luis Obispo\u2019s oldest gas station re-imagined and redesigned in 2015 into a mixed-use space for work, events and a curated wine and goods shop.<\/p>\n
